About us

Our core business is the supply of electricity on the Island of Jersey. Alongside this, our various other business activities operate in a number of market sectors, with the aim of continually achieving better use of our core assets and staff resources.

Jersey Electricity’s strategy of planned investment in the security of supply to the Island for the foreseeable future has been delivered, with the reinforcement of our original 50 megawatt interconnection with Electricité de France, and subsequently, a further 85 megawatt connection to the liberalised European electricity grid.
