JEBS backs Hospice Christmas tree collection

Adrian Hadley Christamas trees

JEBS Sales Engineer Adrian Hadley (above) collected around 100 Christmas trees in a Jersey Electricity Building Services van over the weekend in aid of Jersey Hospice. Adrian and his team were among approximately 40 volunteers who collected a total of over 2,000 trees, raising more than £30,000 for Jersey Hospice.

Adrian said: ‘I got involved last year after being asked by my brother-in-law if the company I worked for at the time could supply a van and a driver to help out. I ended up doing the driving! I have recently joined JEBS so it was good of Jersey Electricity to loan me the van to continue.’

The money is raised by the public registering online through the Hospice website and paying a donation to have their Christmas tree collected and disposed of at La Collette where they are turned into mulch.
