Isolation of Supply

If you are undertaking works on a property and require the electricity service to be dead, you need to complete a Temporary Isolation of Supply form. Please note that during a temporary isolation the supply is only isolated on the consumer’s side of the meter head, incoming supply cables to the property will still be live.

Return the form marked “New Installation Technician” by:

  • Email meter@jec.co.uk
  • Hand or post to: Jersey Electricity, The Powerhouse, Queens Road, St Helier JE4 8NY
  • By hand to The Power Station, La Collette

On receipt, we will endeavour to isolate the supply within five working days.

Removal of Supply

If you are undertaking works on a property and require the electricity service to be removed from the property (including live cables), you need to complete a Redundant Service Request form.

Return the form marked “Redundant Service Request” by:

  • Email jec@jec.co.uk
  • Hand or post to: Jersey Electricity, The Powerhouse, Queens Road, St Helier JE4 8NY
  • By hand to The Power Station, La Collette

On receipt, we will endeavour to contact you to arrange a site visit, in order to programme the works required to remove the supply, within six weeks.
