What can I do if I think my meter reading is wrong?

Your electricity meter is a precision instrument. It is certified before its installation, so you can be confident of its accuracy. Electricity meters very rarely go wrong. However, if you do believe your meter reading is wrong, please contact our Customer Care Team to register your concern through one of the following channels:

  • Call 505460 between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday. (voice messaging at all other times
  • Email jec@jec.co.uk
  • Visit our Customer Care Centre at The Powerhouse, Queens Road, St Helier

We will respond to your concern and, if necessary, check the meter reading and test it is recording accurately within five working days.
