I think I’m on the wrong tariff, what can I do?

Your tariff depends mainly on your home heating and hot water heating system, whether you have gas or oil-fired central heating or electric.

The tariff is on the premise, not your account, so if you move from a home with gas central heating to one with electric storage heating, your tariff will automatically change.

If you are on electric heating, our Customer Care Team are happy to advise you or visit you to ensure you are getting the best from your system and tariff.

You could be on the wrong tariff if:

  • You have changed your heating/hot water system and not told us
  • You use your system at different times to the discounted periods on your tariff
  • Your lifestyle has changed
  • Your usage pattern has changed
