How long have you worked in JE’s Customer Care team?

I joined the Customer Care team in September 2022.

Tell us about your career journey at JE?

I started my JE journey in the Powerhouse as a sales assistant in the white goods department. I really enjoyed my time in the Powerhouse, my team were amazing and the training provided really helped me settle into the role. I worked in the powerhouse for just over seven months before applying for my role in the Customer Care team.

What do you enjoy about being part of the Customer Care team?

The team is great and everyone really welcomed me to my new position, I couldn’t have asked for a better team to support me through my training.

Working in the Powerhouse, and in my role as a Customer Care Advisor, my goals have always been focused on the customer and being able to help and advise customers to the best of my ability.

How have your skills developed during your time with JE?

The training given in both Retail and Customer Care really helped me with my customer focus. I have also had the opportunity to widen my personal leadership skills. Every day is always a learning experience, especially as new products and services are regularly launched. My team must understand these products and services so we can give customers the correct advice, as we are the first people they come to for support and guidance.

How was JE supported your career?

My career has always been about the customer. Before I joined JE I was in the hair and beauty industry for 15 years. So still having the ability to support customers is really fulfilling for me personally, and professionally it has been a very rewarding career progression.

What advice would you give someone considering a career supporting customers?

Do it! Customers are the real focus at JE, and providing a service that helps and supports our customers is a really valuable career path.
