Economy 7 Maximum Demand KVA at a glance

This tariff has two rates, a Day Rate and a Night Rate. The Night Rate gives you seven hours of cheaper electricity for all appliances used at night.

If you use storage heaters, immersion heaters, and any appliance that can be timed to safely operate during the seven-hour night period, you can save money by using them during this off-peak time.

The Night Rate period is usually between 11pm and 7.30am, though the exact times are at the discretion of Jersey Electricity.

Who is it for?

This tariff is for large business or commercial premises that require a service capacity greater than 100A (three phase).

Customers whose Power Factor is less than 0.95 lagging will incur higher energy costs than necessary. For more information, please contact our Customer Care team.

All Maximum Demand Tariffs are subject to a minimum charge of 30 kiloVolt amperes (kVA). Voltage refers to the point at which Jersey Electricity provides the supply.
