Economy 20 Plus Commercial at a glance
Economy 20 Plus Commercial provides 24 hours of uninterrupted electricity for approved heating and hot water systems.
This includes 20 hours of cheaper electricity for your heating and hot water.
All other appliances run on the General Power and Lighting Rate at all times (see below).
Uninterrupted heating and hot water
During peak hours you will automatically switch to our Economy 20 Plus Rate. The four peak hours are:
- 1pm - 3pm
- 5pm - 7pm
These peak hours will appear separately on your bill so you can see exactly how much your heating costs at both peak and off-peak times.
This provides you with 24-hour control over your heating and hot water at a price to suit you.
Who is it for?
Economy 20 Plus Commercial is suitable for premises with approved:
- Electric central heating
- Electric underfloor heating
- Smart electric heaters
- Electric flow boiler
- Heat pump
The approved system needs to be connected to a dedicated heating or hot water circuit. For example, electric heaters can't just be plugged into a socket.
