As we enter the sixth day of recovery efforts from Storm Ciarán, we have made significant progress in restoring power to customers.
We've now re-connected more than 770 homes and businesses, and our immediate focus is on fewer than 30 customers without power.
These final repairs often involve intricate work on transformers, individual lines, or connections to homes. Each job might restore power to a single household or a small neighbourhood, but it requires nearly the same amount of time and resources as the larger repairs do.
We are optimistic that the majority of our customers will see their power restored today.

Current Status
We currently have around 70 personnel working around the Island, with an additional 30 colleagues providing essential support to these teams. Today we have substantial restoration work being carried out at Rue de Beauvelande, La Rigondaine, and Highfield Lane.
With further repair works at Mont Le Vaux, Rue de la Croix, La Rue Es Philippes, Beaumont, Ouaisne, Mont Mado, Old Beaumont Hill, Queen's Valley Reservoir, La Rue de la Vallee.
Latest Restorations Completed
Over 770 restorations have now been completed, with fewer than 30 customers remaining without power (these customers are our priority).
Challenges Faced
The remaining outages often involve individual lines serving fewer customers or even single homes. These repairs are just as important to us, but they are more time-consuming on a per-customer basis. Each case may require a detailed assessment, specialised equipment, and sometimes even bespoke solutions to navigate the unique challenges posed by localised damage.
