As Storm Austen continues to affect the Island, our teams are closely monitoring the electricity network and assessing any damage or disruption to supplies.
What we're doing:
During the height of the storm, we are prioritising emergency situations where there is an immediate danger and our teams need to make the area safe.
Our teams are assessing reports of damage across the network to ensure we can respond effectively as soon as conditions allow. The calls and reports we receive during the storm help us build a clear picture of the impact and direct resources where they are needed most.
As soon as conditions allow, our teams will be working to restore power as safely and quickly as possible.
We understand that being without electricity can be difficult and frustrating. Please be assured that we are doing everything we can to support affected customers and restore supplies at the earliest safe opportunity.
