Our efforts continue to safely restore electricity supplies following the impact of Storm Ciarán.
Supporting vulnerable customers remains at the heart of our response efforts.
- 99% of customers in Jersey are now with power, more than 200 customers were reconnected yesterday and we expect to restore power to more customers today.
-
Overhead line teams have been engaged from the UK to provide additional support, doubling the size of our restoration response capacity. These teams were already on the ferry to Jersey yesterday, but have been delayed by bad weather, ETA 17:00).
- Teams from right across Jersey Electricity are supporting our front line operational and customer care teams in our response to Storm Ciarán throughout the weekend and late through the night.
- We continue to support vulnerable customers by arranging alternative accommodation for customers without power. Please call 01534 505422 to access this support.
- We ask all Islanders to check on their neighbours, especially those that may be vulnerable without power, engaging with the Parishes and agencies as required.
Thank you to everyone for your continued support and patience.
We are making solid progress restoring power but we fully appreciate that for those without power, this has been a challenging two days.
