DC David Humphries and police officer Andrew Robinson offered practical advice to help companies and empower people – as employees and individuals – to guard their data.
Cyber Griffin is an independent service with direct access to police and Action Fraud databases. Its intelligence-led services reflect the most relevant and prevalent cyber threats to businesses.
The top three things individuals can do to guard from cyber threats are:
- Educate yourself about cyber security and data protection;
- Report any suspected fraud or cyber crime to the States of Jersey Police in Jersey or Action Fraud if you are in the UK;
- If your organisation needs support, visit cert.je or Cyber Griffin to access free resources and advice.
