Energy Saving Week runs from Saturday 17 January and JE has planned a series of community events to help spark conversations about energy saving. A life size Moe the sloth will be on hand with JE’s experts to share tips, answer customers’ questions about how they can manage their energy consumption and reduce their electricity bills – as well as a colouring competition to win a cuddly toy sloth.
Adam Caerlewy-Smith, head of marketing and communications at JE, said, “There are often many small changes we can make to help reduce our electricity bills, which is why we’re keen to talk to as many Islanders as possible this Energy Saving Week to share helpful tips and guidance. Our colleagues in the Powerhouse will also be available to explain which appliances are the most energy efficient.
“We’ve brought Moe the sloth to life to help raise awareness of Energy Saving Week and we hope to have meaningful conversations about how we can help customers take control of their energy use, particularly during the colder months.”
Moe and #TeamJE are looking forward to talking to Islanders at the following locations:
- The Powerhouse store throughout the week from Saturday 17 January
- Brook Street, St Helier on Thursday 22 January between 0900 and 1500
