Important information for our Pay As You Go customers

Pay As You Go customers will be unable to top up their meters either online via Topup.je or in your usual local retailer between the hours of 9am and 3.30pm Sunday 23 November due to systems maintenance. 

We apologise for the inconvenience and urge customers to ensure they have sufficient credit on their meters to cover this period.

If your credit drops below £1 you have the option to activate Emergency Credit. The meter will say: Low Credit . . . EC Offer. Press button ‘A’ to activate.

La Mare Wine Estate are the winners of the 2011 Jersey Electricity Environmental Award. Short-listed Small Organisation for the second year running, they took top honours this year by beating Geomarine and Port of Jersey (Short-listed Large Organisation) and Jersey College for Girls (Short-listed School).

Presenting the Award at the Jersey Enterprise Awards Gala Night at Fort Regent, Jersey Electricity CEO Chris Ambler said: 'Our winner is, indeed, a worthy one. La Mare staff have embedded sustainable best practice in every conceivable business area.'

'Their productive output has increased on 40% less energy, rainwater is collected and stored for irrigation, retail packaging can be used up to ten times, kitchen oil is recycled into biodiesel and a shared delivery system has reduced vehicle use.

'They have created opportunities for new, green products of outstanding provenance for which consumers are prepared to pay a premium at home and abroad.'
