As part of our ongoing planting and maintenance partnership with the charity, we have supplied three cordless STIHL Kombi Engines. These versatile, low-emissions tools will help reduce both carbon output and noise pollution while supporting Jersey Trees for Life’s vital work in preserving Jersey’s natural environment.

The machinery includes a range of attachments including strimmers, brush cutters, hedge cutters, chainsaws and rotary cutting heads as well as batteries and backpack systems.

Alex Morel, CEO of Jersey Trees for Life, said, “The nature of our work means we’re reliant on the quality of our equipment, so of course we’re delighted to have received funding for these top-quality tools. We’re grateful to Jersey Electricity for its generosity and ongoing support in helping us to create a greener, healthier future for Jersey.”

James King, Solar Projects Officer at Jersey Electricity, added, “This initiative reflects our shared commitment to protecting and sensitively maintaining the natural landscapes around our projects.”

The donation forms part of our 100 Projects That Matter community impact programme, providing support and resources to Jersey causes.
