We know that inclusion can sometimes feel abstract or “not relevant to me” but the truth is it matters to all of us. Whether someone is navigating a new diagnosis, transitioning, observing a faith or simply trying to feel seen and supported at work, how we respond as colleagues and leaders shapes their experience and ability to thrive.

To support this we’re excited to launch our new Inclusion Resource Library. These resources are designed to help us all better understand and support colleagues who may need different ways of working and customers who may engage with us in different ways.

Whether you’re a manager, team member, or customer facing colleague, these tools are here to help you have conversations that make a real difference.

It’s an initiative that our Chief Operating Officer, Mark Preece, believes we can all benefit from.

“Throughout our careers, we’ll work alongside colleagues from a wide range of backgrounds, some may have visible or invisible disabilities, others may have received a diagnosis that helps explain how they experience the world. We’ll also support one another through significant life events, both personal and professional. Having access to a resource library that helps guide these conversations and deepen our understanding can make a real difference in how we work together. Before joining JE, I worked with an engineer who was going through gender transition. At the time, there were no resources available to help managers or colleagues navigate that experience. I’ve also worked in diverse environments like the UK and Abu Dhabi, where people of many faiths, cultures, and identities come together. While we found our way through those moments, having something to refer to, something that offers insight and practical support would have made it easier for everyone involved.”

And there's more to come....

We’re also proud to announce the upcoming launch of our first employee-led network, focused on women’s menstrual health. This network will create space for awareness, support and open conversations around a topic that affects many but is often overlooked in the workplace.

Now is the time to learn, listen and lead with inclusion, building a culture where everyone feels respected, supported and able to be their best.
