Important information for our Pay As You Go customers

Pay As You Go customers will be unable to top up their meters either online via Topup.je or in your usual local retailer between the hours of 9am and 3.30pm Sunday 23 November due to systems maintenance. 

We apologise for the inconvenience and urge customers to ensure they have sufficient credit on their meters to cover this period.

If your credit drops below £1 you have the option to activate Emergency Credit. The meter will say: Low Credit . . . EC Offer. Press button ‘A’ to activate.

The Energy Blog Staff take plunge to clean Durrell Orangutan moat

A group of 18 staff from Jersey Electricity yesterday volunteered to take the plunge into Durrell's Orangutan enclosure moat to clear the water and banking of invasive weeds and overgrowth. The group encompassed staff from many JE departments, including Distribution, Metering, Finance, Planning, Health, Safety and Environment, IT, Production, Retail and Procurement. The afternoon was the first of a new Sustainability in the Community event aimed at aligning the Company's Corporate sponsorships with staff voluntary work. Organised by JE's Health, Safety and Environment Engineer Chris Bester, the event was deemed a huge success, if a muddy one, by all involved.
