Werner has been instrumental in several technology projects that have improved efficiencies across the Company and allowed the teams to access data to make tangible improvements for customers.
Werner led the implementation, launch and ongoing evolution of the award-winning My JE app, which has helped thousands of Islanders to save money and energy. Led by Werner, JE’s technology and digital teams are powering JE to achieve its Vision to inspire a zero-carbon future for the benefit of the Island and wider community.
JE’s CEO Chris Ambler congratulated Werner on his award. ‘Werner has enabled JE to see how new technology can help improve internal effectiveness and efficiency as well as create new relationships with consumers. Werner has been a key influence in my own emerging belief that technology will play a critical strategic role in the future of JE as an energy partner to the Island.
